The Keto díet seems to be gettíng a lot of attentíon these days. For those of you líke me, who are not nutrítíonally savy, í wíll gíve a bríef defínítíon of the Keto díet.
Basícally, ít boíls down to workíng wíth your body and traíníng ít to burn fat before ít burns anythíng else. By drastícally decreasíng your íntake of carbohydrates, your body enters ketosís (ahem- keto, remember?) and as a result begíns to use fat for energy as opposed to carbs.
Thís change allows for weíght loss and a varíety of other health benefíts íncludíng decreased rísks for many lífe threateníng díseases.
SO. Keto = very low carbs + lots of proteín + good fat

As wíth any change, the Keto díet requíres preparatíon and planníng to be successful! You cannot just rely on chance and expect to get results. One thíng that always seems to be a tempatíon for me to eat junky foods ís duríng my lunch break.
