5 Minutes Pesto and Artichoke Pizza Recipes

Ingredients of the 5 minutes pesto and artichoke pizza

We will start with the ingredients for the dough that including :

1.        2 teaspoons sugar
2.        3 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil
3.        2 ¼ teaspoons of active dry yeast
4.        4 cups of all-purpose flour
5.        1 ½ teaspoons kosher salt

Now the ingredients for the topping of 5 minutes pesto and artichoke pizza

1.        3 cups of loosely packed fresh basil leaves
2.        ¼ pine nuts
3.        2 cloves peeled and crushed garlic
4.        5 tablespoons of extra virgin olive oil
5.        6 cups loosely packed baby arugula
6.        ½ cup grated parmesan
7.        4 ounces chopped  bacon or pancetta (choose the one you like, you can also skip it)
8.        1 ½ cups of shredded low-moisture mozzarella cheese
9.        1 cup crumbled feta
10.    1 cup sliced of marinated artichoke hearts
11.    ¼ cup pickled jalapeno
12.    Kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper

Instruction

First, we should make the dough of the 5 minutes pesto and artichoke pizza. Mix sugar and yeast in 1 ½ cups warm water and let it sits until foamy. Then stir in the olive oil. In a mixer, combine the yeast mixture with flour, and salt. Mix on low until smooth. Switch the dough hook and knead on medium. You may add a little more flour or water until the dough forms a loose. Knead again until the dough is smooth.

Wrap the dough in the large bowl and let it sit. For the topping, combine the basil, pine nuts, garlic 3 cups arugula in a food processor. Make it be chunky paste. Add the ¼ cup olive oil and process until smooth. Add the parmesan, salt, and pepper. Cook bacon in a different pan.

Punch down the dough and bake the dough. Then take it and spread the pesto on the dough, with mozzarella, feta, artichokes, cooked bacon, and jalapeno. Bake again. Combine the remaining ingredients in a large bowl. Then take the pizza.
